About

In his youth, Jamie suffered an unfortunate injury while serving in the U.S. Army that left him with a debilitating back injury. He has always felt passionate about working with his hands, but Jamie was relegated to customer service roles in the auto parts industry because he had difficulty moving around.

Feeling both underappreciated and underutilized, Jamie recognized how important he felt it was to be able to create products that truly mean something to his clients, and to access his creative side to make a difference. Despite consistent feedback that suggests otherwise, Jamie hasn't typically considered himself an artist. However, through working with his hands, setting his own pace, and creating masterful objects, he established a role in which he feels he has found his purpose.
